Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska had 1.45 million revenue-generating units at the end of the second quarter, up 14% year-on-year.
Triple play customers numbered over 100,000 for the first time, up 9% year-on-year, while double play customers numbered 238,000. Multimedia Polska recorded 1.99 services sold per customer at the end of the quarter, up from 1.88 for the previous year. ARPU grew by 2.1% to PLN69.30 (€16.70).
TV customers numbered 795,000, up 100,000 year-on-year thanks to acquisitions. Multimedia Polska had 379,600 broadband customers, up 13%. Telephony customers numbered 271,000, up 17%.
Multimedia Polska posted first half revenues of PLN303.2 million, up 9% year-on-year, boosted by strong digital TV growth (up 51% in revenue terms and 51% in RGU numbers). Broadband revenues were up 18%.
EBITDA for the first half amounted to PLN157.5 million, up 8%.
