DTV quality assurance company Agama Technologies and Celeno Communications, the Wi-Fi home networking semiconductors and software company, have announce the integration of Agama’s embedded monitoring solution with Celeno’s Wi-Fi technology.
This integration provides Agama’s customers with expanded real-time service monitoring capabilities for home networks. It will enable digital TV operators to assure quality in all parts of the home video distribution network, including wireless communication between an in-home gateway and a set-top box, or between a master set-top or DVR and slave set-tops.
The Agama embedded monitoring solution collects information from software probes on each connected in-home device using various protocols and provides real-time monitoring of Quality of Experience, Quality of Service, service usage and system parameters.
Celeno’s 802.11n WiFi solutions, powered by its OpitimizAIR technology, enables home gateways, multi-room DVRs and media servers to distribute wirelessly multiple and simultaneous HD video streams to standard set-top boxes, PCs, television sets and other Wi-Fi enabled consumer devices.
Celeno and Agama will be exhibiting at IBC on Stands 3.415f and 4.A55 respectively
