Discovery is launching its female skewing network TLC in Malta after striking a deal with pay TV operator Go.
This will be the channel’s first launch in the country and is part of its expansion internationally as it hopes to launch in 75 countries and 100 million global homes by the end of the year. The channel, which will launch in September, replacing Discovery Travel and Living, will air series including polygamy reality series Sister Wives, fashion series What Not To Wear, health series My Secret Body and wedding reality show Don’t Tell the Bride.
Michèle Dandria, TV product manager at Go, said: We are delighted to be introducing TLC – the amazing must-have channel for female viewers in the Maltese Islands. TLC hosts an exceptional mix of fiction and reality programming projected to match up with the typical lifestyle of today’s woman.
