Pebble Beach and Mantrics collaborate on Marina

Broadcast automation company Pebble Beach Systems and broadcast workflow management specialist Mantrics Digital Video will be demonstrating the integration of their Marina automation and Workflow Manager products at IBC.

Announcing the collaboration, Mantrics Digital Video’s CEO, Claudio Mattei said: “Our flagship Workflow Manager product exploits the capabilities of Marina to dynamically track and display the status of all content, giving direct visibility into the all of the resources within the system and making the process highly traceable and transparent. It enhances Pebble Beach Systems’ own workflow tools within the Marina environment, enabling users to view content at every stage of the workflow from ingest to delivery. Operators have visibility of where content is in the preparation process and can be sure that the correct version is being prepared for playout. We’re delighted to be working with Pebble Beach Systems to deliver this comprehensive and user-friendly solution.”

Pebble Beach Systems’ Marina is an automation solution that is configurable to address operational and business requirements changes. According to Pebble Beach, it can offer a high density of channels, and a playlist engine which allows for short-clip playback, meaning operators are able to handle high volumes of complex media and metadata. As a web-based solution for media asset management, workflow automation and project planning, the Workflow Manager also enables broadcasters to control and technical and human resources.

Pebble Beach will be exhibiting at IBC on stand 8.B58 and Mantrics will be on Stand 7.A09.
