Kenya’s Kiss acquires soccer rights

Kenyan broadcaster Kiss TV has acquired the rights to a raft of European soccer tournaments.

The broadcaster has acquired local rights to the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga and the Europa League. The multi-million dollar deal will give it access to five live games per week from the English Premier League and Bundesliga as well as three games per week from the European cup competitions.

“We are firmly pushing Kiss TV to become the station of choice for the average Kenyan. Kenyans love great football and to be able to make the world’s best leagues free to Kenyans has been our dream,” said general manager Martin Khafafa.
