Telekom Austria’s TV growth continues

Telekom Austria ended June with 174,800 A1TV customers. That means the telco increased its IPTV subscriber base by 41.1% year-on-year.

Telekom Austria said customer up-take of high-value broadband offerings counteracted the loss of fixed net voice minutes and resulted in a slower decline of average revenues per line (ARPL), which dropped to €32.40 in the first half of the year compared to €33.10 a year earlier.

Fixed line broadband subscriber numbers were up 11.6% to 1.216 million.
