Viasat will launch a daily news programme on its Ghanaian channel, Viasat1, starting August 15.
The channel, which launched three years ago and has a viewing share of over 17%, will launch Viasat1 News as a daily, 30-minute news broadcast going out at 19:30. The main news anchors will be Emmanuel Kwasi Afriyie, Nana Ekua Asanteba Mensah, Zenaida Morrision and Derek Worlalorm-Johnson. Viasat is owned by Modern Times Group.
