Vodafone is launching a triple-play package of TV, internet and telephony in the Netherlands.
The Dutch arm of the telco will launch its first TV offering with a package of over 60 channels, 20 of which will be in high definition. The platform will also offer video-on-demand and catch-up. Vodafone Home Internet, Phone & TV customers will be able to choose from three internet speeds of 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps for which they will be charged €49.95, €59.95 and €74.95 respectively.
The telco said it will launch the service in October on fibre-to-the-home operator Reggefiber’s network, which currently covers the municipalities of Barneveld, Beuningen, Emmer-Compascum, Groesbeek, Groot Salland, Leudal and Millingen aan de Rijn. In other areas, Vodafone will launch the service when over 30% of homes have registered their interest.
Bart Hofker, director of the consumer market at Vodafone Netherlands said: “With the availability of Vodafone Home Internet, Phone and TV Vodafone makes another step in the transformation of traditional mobile operator into a provider of all communication.”
