UK TV viewing at its highest

UK viewers watched an average of four hours and three minutes of TV each day in the first half of the year, according to industry marketing group Thinkbox. That figure is up by 51 seconds a day year-on-year and a new high.

In DVR households, 14.7% of viewing was time-shifted during the first during the first six months of the year, up from 13.7%. The report also showed that viewers are facing more ads than previously, with the daily average up to 47 from 45 a year earlier.
