Polish DTH platform ‘n’ saw second quarter revenues increase by 19% year-on-year.
The TVN-owned pay TV operator posted revenues of PLN180 million (€43 million), an increase of PLN29 million. The solid growth came predominantly from a 97,000 increase in its subscriber base. Post-paid ARPU reached PLN60.90 in the second quarter, compared with from PLN58.3 year earlier.
The operator’s pre-paid active customer base was unchanged at 256,000 subscribers, but with customers increasingly taking HD packages, ARPU has risen by 26%. Second quarter EBITDA improved by PLN6 million year-on-year to PLN 7 million.
TVN’s second quarter revenue was up 10% to PLN724 million.
