Apple is likely to continue to dominate the European market for tablet devices, according to a report by Forrester Research.
Europe is expected by Forrester to account for 14.5 million, or 30%, of worldwide tablet sales this year. Apple is estimated to have a 70% market share for tablet sell-through (as opposed to raw shipments).
While Forrester acknowledges that Apple could face more competition outside the UK, it argues that this competition remains fragmented, with a lack of compelling content and prices that are still too high.
