Digital Plus subs flat

The number of subscribers to Spanish pay TV service Digital Plus remained flat in the 12 months to the end of June, and the operator saw revenues decline during the period.

The number of subscribers at the end of June numbered 1,790,381, up 5,538 year-on-year. Subscribers to iPlus and Multi Plus value-added services rose by more than 40% in the first half of the year. At the end of June the operator had 415,735 iPlus DVR customers, up 110,356 from the end of the year. Multi Plus multiroom subscribers numbered 215,803, representing 12% of the overall customer base.

First half 2011 adjusted revenues amounted to €506.21 million, down 3.8% year-on-year.
