Voddler launches iPad VOD app

Sweden-based online video-on-demand company Voddler has launched its VOD platform on iPads.

The company has developed an iPad app that gives access to a library of over 200 titles. Voddler said it would add titles from its 4,500-strong catalogue on a regular basis. The app costs €5.49 to download and users will not have to make any more payments to use the service.

“We continue to develop so that you can see movies whenever and wherever you want, regardless of which screen you happen to have nearby. At the same time, we keep our focus on seamless transitions between the screens. If you, for instance, start watching a film on your mobile on the way home, you can then pick up exactly where you left off when you get to your computer-connected TV at home, or on your iPad-table if the home-TV was already occupied,” said Anders Sjöman, head of communication at Voddler.

Voddler launched a smartphone app for Android and Apple devices in March.
