Lattelecom reaches 200,000 TV subs

Latvian telco Lattelecom has passed the 200,000 TV subscriber mark.

The telco offers TV services via IPTV and DTT, and while it didn’t reveal the split of subscribers it said that it had reached the milestone four years after launching TV services.

Last year the telco transitioned its analogue network to digital and is currently rolling out one of Europe’s fastest broadband networks. Last week Lattelecom announced it had signed a deal with broadband infrastructure provider Huawei to deliver a new multimedia platform that will offer advanced voice services that integrate with social networks, file sharing between subscribers and fixed mobile convergence.
