Lithuanian telco Teo added 11,300 TV subscribers during the first six months of the year. The company which offers IPTV and DTT services, ended June with a total of 142,500 TV subscribers, of which 73,000 subscribed to IPTV and 70,000 took DTT services.
Revenue from TV services for the first half of the year were up 26% to LTL22,405,000 (6.5 million).
At the end of March TeoÂs share of the countryÂs digital TV market amounted to 48.3% and its share of the total pay TV market was 22.2%.
The telco also saw growth in broadband, attracting 8,800 new customers in the first half of the year, ending June with a total of 326,000 internet subs. Total revenues to the end of June were down 4.4% to LTL369,809 due to a decline in revenues from telephony services.
