MTS launches 100 channel mobile TV for Russia


Russian operator MTS is launching a 100 channel mobile TV service.


The service will offer eight Russian channels and over 100 additional channels from 17 countries in 26 languages to customers throughout Russia via WiFi and 3G enabled devices.

The service will offer a picture-in-picture feature enabling users to view two channels at the same time. While watching a channel, users will also be able to access a programme guide and set reminders to watch future programmes. 
Users will need to download the MTS TV app to use the mobile TV platform.
