News Corp and Permira line-up NDS listing


NDS looks likely to be floated on in the US. Its backers, media giant News Corp and private equity firm Permira, reportedly brought in advisors last week to advise on the listing.


The conditional access firm was previously listed on Nasdaq before being taken private in 2009. At that point the business was valued at about US$2.5 billion (€1.8 billion).
Permira holds a 51% stake in NDS and News Corp the remainder.
