Sky Deutschland has announced plans to extend its partnership with Kabel BW, including boosting the number HD channels available on the cable platform.
The two operators have marketing a joint offering of a package of Sky channels with Kabel BWs internet and telephony products under the CleverKabel 50 Sky package since July 2010. From August, Kabel BW will offer all SkyÂs packages as standalone offers to its customers. The number of HD channels available on the cable operatorÂs platform will also expand with the addition of Sky Sports HD and later in the year Sky Sports News HD.
Stefan Beberweil, head of product management at Kabel BW said: “Our clients appreciate the innovative and diverse product offerings of Kabel BW. The new agreement with Sky Deutschland underscores our strategy to continuously expand our HD service. In addition, our customers will now receive all Sky packages directly from Kabel BW. This reinforces our position as the entertainment provider in Baden-Württemberg.”
