Beltelecom launches interactive TV portal

Belarusian telco Beltelecom has launched an interactive information portal as part of its Zala TV offering.

Users will be able to access the service via a tab on the EPG. The portal will offer company news, weather, finance and other information services.

The service will also offer banking services, enabling customers to carry out transactions by registering their phone number via the TV, after which they will receive a password via an SMS message. The first bank to sign up is Belinvestbaknk, with Belarusbank, Belagroprombank and BPS-Bank to follow.
