The Telegraph Media Group (TMG) is backing the launch of a new free-to-air digital sports channel that will launch in the UK later this year.
GBSport.tv, which is also owned by Input Media, Kameleon and Convers Sports Initiatives, will launch in September and will stream over 1,400 hours of live sports coverage.
The channel, which will be available online, on mobile and via internet-enabled television sets, will carry live domestic and international sporting events including athletics, badminton, basketball, hockey, swimming and tennis.
