PrimaCom names new CEO

German cable operator PrimaCom has named Joachim Grendel as its new CEO.

Grendel has previously served as chief operating officer and CEO of UnityMedia, and has also worked as a partner at Boston Consulting Group responsible for delivering advice to media and telecoms companies in eastern Europe and Russia. Grendel will take over management of PrimaCom from July 11.
