Food Network cooks up Freeview deal

Food Network is launching a block on UK digital terrestrial free-to-air service Freeview.

The Scripps-owned channel, which is already carried on DTH services Sky and Freesat in the UK, will air a daily block of its food-related programming  between 18:00 and 22:00 on Freeview channel 49, a slot that is currently unoccupied on the DTT platform. The channel’s top shows include Barefoot Contessa, Ace of Cakes and Chopped.
