German telco and pay television operator Deutsche Telekom has hired two new executives to its management board.
Claudia Nemat, who was managing partner and director for the High Tech Sector of consultancy firm McKinsey, will be in charge of the company’s European subsidiaries. She will look after Slovak Telecom, Hungary’s Magyar Telecom and Croatia’s T-Hrvatski Telekom as well as the OTE Group’s interests in Greece, Romania, Albania and Bulgaria. She will also be responsible for the company’s mobile interests in Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Poland as well as its stake in British joint venture Everything Everywhere.
The company has also hired Marion Schick, who was previously minister of education and cultural affairs in Baden-Wuerttemberg, to oversee its human resources department.
