Cosmos TV Belarus adds channels, ups prices

IPTV service provider Cosmos TV Belarus has added culture and information channel Zhest to its programming line-up. The channel will be available as part of Cosmos TV’s basic package.

Separately, Cosmos TV is making its 15-channel strong sports package available free of charge for the first two weeks of July. The package includes Extreme Sports Channel, NTV Plus Sport Union, Drive, NTV Plus Nash Football, NTV Plus Football and KHL TV.

The changes come as Comsos TV raises the prices of its TV packages following the sharp decline in the value of the Belarusian ruble. The analogue basic package now costs BYR17,700 (€2.45) while the digital basic pack is available for BYR27,500. The operator’s thematic packages have also been subject to price changes.
