France 24 launches on Time Warner Cable


News broadcaster France 24 has launched on US cable network Time Warner Cable.


The English-language version of its news channel is available to Time Warner Cable’s 1.5 million subscribers in the New York Metropolitan area. It is available in the basic package. 


Philippe Rouxel, France 24’s vice-president worldwide distribution, said: “This agreement is a crucial step for our channel and its ongoing implementation in the US. This launch on Time Warner is not only a source of great satisfaction, it is also extremely symbolic, showing that the channel has proven its capacity to attract interest the North American audience.”
