Canal Plus looks to extend golf offering

French pay TV operator Canal Plus has plans to launch a golf channel as part of the CanalSat bouquet later this year, according to local press.

According to the BRL TV blog on news magazine Le Parisien’s website, the pay TV operator will use the channel to enrich its sports offering. Canal Plus already holds rights to a number of golf tournaments, including the European and US Tours and four majors.
