Ziggo building sustainable micro data centres

Dutch cable operator Ziggo has begun construction of a micro data centre, the first of between 10 and 20 regional and local planned data centres.

According to Ziggo, the new sustainable data centres will save it several millions of euros per year in costs as expansion can be achieved by building new centres to add to existing capacity rather than by replacing existing facilities.
