Datagroup to offer broadband with Eutelsat’s Ka-Sat

Ukrainian telco Datagroup has signed a deal with Eutelsat’s broadband affiliate Skylogic to deliver broadband services via the satellite operator’s Ka-Sat satellite.

Datagroup will launch the broadband service using its Internet Boom trademark. Users will be able to receive an always-on satellite service delivering speeds of up to 10Mbps downstream and 4Mbps upstream. It will also offer business customers up to 50Mbps downstream and 20Mbps upstream.
Eutelsat’s Ka-Sat entered commercial service last month.
