Samsung sells two million Smart TVs in three months

Samsung has sold over two million Smart TVs since it launched the connected TV sets three months ago.
The consumer electronics giant made the announcement on its Samsung Tomorrow blog. It said that since launching Smart TVs in March, it had sold an average of 150,000 sets each week.
North America has proved the most fruitful region for Samsung, with over 730,000 sets sold into the region, followed by the UK, Germany, France and Italy, where it has sold 710,000 Smart TVs. The Middle East and Africa accounted for 170,000 sales.
