Channel 4 names marketing chief

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has promoted Sarah Owen to head of marketing following the exit of Rufus Radcliffe.

Owen, who was previously group marketing manager, will replace Radcliffe, who left to join rival network ITV in April. She will be in charge of all of Channel 4’s on and off-air marketing for its main TV channel and digital services and will report to former Discovery exec Dan Brooke, who became director of marketing and communications last year.
