ARY Digital chooses AsiaSat

South Asian broadcaster ARY Digital Network has signed a deal to take a 36MHz C-band transponder on the AsiaSat 3S satellite at 105.5° East to deliver a bouquet of 11 channels across the Asia Pacific region.

Urdu programmer ARY will also use capacity on the satellite to deliver contribution feeds of the bouquet to the Middle East, Europe and the US market. The channels on the platform include ARY Digital Asia, ARY News, ARY Musik, religious channel ARY Qtv, food channel ARY Zauq and joint-venture channels HBO Pakistan and Nickelodeon Pakistan.
