SeaChange offers multiscreen UI

SeaChange has launched new multiscreen user interface software called Nitro.

The software is designed to offer a consistent look and feel across mobile, PC, tablet and TV screens. Using HTML5, it is compatible with linear and on-demand services, multiroom DVR, TV listings, bookmarking and search and recommendation sources.

SeaChange said a “major MSO” had already signed up for Nitro and would deploy it later this year.

“The introduction of the Nitro user interface is a natural complement to our Adrenalin platform, which is already deployed in several multi-screen services worldwide,” said Shiva Patibanda, general manager, in-home solutions, SeaChange.
