Sezmi signs deal with Netgem for hybrid TV offering

US-based hybrid TV technology and service provider Sezmi has signed a partnership with France-based Netgem to use the latter’s set-top box and software as part of its TV offering.

Sezmi delivers a TV offering that is tailored to different network types and capabilities. Earlier this year it struck a deal to provide its platform to Mexico’s Grupo Iusacell to deliver multiple video services for the latter’s mobile businesses and its FTTH service, Totalplay.

Netgem said its deal with Sezmi would provide a turnkey service platform for operators and broader international distribution building on its existing deployments in the US, Latin America and South-East Asia.
