Com Hem expands on-demand, adds channel

Com Hem has expanded its VOD offering and added a new channel to its line up.

The Swedish cable operator has added content from the Canal Plus Sport 1 channel to its on-demand platform. The deal with Canal Plus will bring sports including the Elitserien ice hockey league, Swedish Allsvenskan football league and Spain’s La Liga football to Com Hem on-demand.

The operator has also added the Canal Plus Family channel to its linear line-up. The channel airs series including Bob the Builder and Teletubbies along with family movies including the Harry Potter and Shrek franchises. Canal Plus Family is the eighth kids channel to be added to Com Hem’s platform, joining SVT Children, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Disney Channel, Disney XD, Playhouse Disney and Cartoon Network.
