YouSee expands à la carte offer

Danish cable operator YouSee is offering an à la carte channel service to its basic subscribers.

The Favourite service lets basic package customers choose four additional channels each month from a choice of 69 for DKK48 (€6.50). Additional channels can be purchased for DKK22 per month. “We are determined that customers should be free to assemble their TV packages,” said YouSee CEO Niels Breining.

Favourite was introduced in 2005 but until now had only been available to customers taking YouSee’s Full or Medium package of channels.
