Sony, Apollo and Providence circle £750m All3Media


The television arm of Sony and private equity firms Apollo and Providence are being linked to bids for All3Media, the UK-based producer and distributor.

The company is currently owned by another private equity firm, Permira, and recently brought in investment bank UBS to conduct a strategic review. Permira was reported to be looking to generate over £700 million (€800 million) from the sale of All3. Weekend reports in the UK suggest that the sale price is now likely to be closer to £750 million.
