Davey joins Sky Deutschland as EVP programming

Sky Deutschland has appointed News Corp senior exec Gary Davey as executive vice-president programming.

Davey has previously worked as managing director of Sky in the UK and CEO of Star TV in Hong Kong. Most recently he was chief operating officer of News Corp Television Stations Europe. In his new role, Davey will develop and manage Sky’s entertainment programming and creative strategy, including the Sky Film movie service while supporting CEO Brian Sullivan in developing Sky’s overall creative agenda.

“I am thrilled Gary has decided to join our company for this important role. His wealth of experience will boost our content strategy and its execution to the next level,” said Sullivan.
