Portuguese regulator ANACOM has called on Portugal Telecom to improve the quality of information provided to the public about digital-terrestrial TV and the digital switchover process.
ANACOM ruled that Portugal Telecom must provide complete, clear and accurate information about switchover, particularly regarding the availability and terms of subsidies for decoders and reception equipment. The telco won the national tender for the installation and implementation of digital-terrestrial TV in the country, and switchover is scheduled to be complete in seven months time.Â
