Romanian cable operator Digital Cable Systems has launched a HDTV service on its AKTA pay TV platform. â¨According to local reports, the operator has invested 100,000 in the project. Subscribers now have access to four HD channels Â PRO TV, Sport.ro, TVR and History. More channels are expected to be added to the platform. The package costs RON20 (Â4.85).
Those taking the AKTA Digital Total pack will receive a 50% discount while those with the AKTA Digital Start pack will get 25% off.
At the end of 2010, Digital Cable Systems had 180,000 subscribers.
