Maxdome beefs up VOD


German video-on-demand service Maxdome has added a raft of new titles to its offering after inking a deal with RTL-owned Universum Film.

It allows movie titles including The King’s Speech to be added to the Maxdome line-up.
The VOD service us wholly-owned by German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1. The Universum deal follows an agreement last week with ORF, under the terms of which content from the Austrian public broadcaster was added to the Maxdome service.
