History HD rolls out in Israel


The high-definition version of A&E Networks’ History Channel has launched on Yes in Israel.

The DTH platform added History HD to the regular SD feed of the channel, which launched in Israel in 2000, earlier this week. The HD channel reaches 200,000 Yes subscribers. The Israeli History and other A&E Networks channels are run by local media firm Tel-Ad Broadcasting.
