Naxoo launches interactive services with Zappware

Swiss cable operator Naxoo (Télégenève) has launched interactive services using Belgium-based Zappware’s platform.

The cable company is using Zappware’s Flux platform to deliver interactive services including an EPG and a DVR service that allows users to record content onto a USB-connected hard drive. Future developments will include the launch of a video-on-demand service.

Naxoo’s digital TV service is deployed on SceneGate set-top boxes from Zappware’s partner Albis Technologies.

Naxoo serves about 40,000 households in the Geneva and Wallis cantons.
