Consumer electronics giant Samsung has launched a service that allows UK consumers with its connected TVs to stream 3D content on-demand.
The Explore 3D app allows owners of 3D connected TVs to view TV series and movies on-demand. At launch there will be 10 Imax movies and a limited selection of documentaries, feature film trailers and music videos, but Samsung committed to bolstering the offering to over 70 items this year. The service is expected to launch in France, Germany and Spain next, before then rolling out further afield.
