CNN launches smartphone app


The international arm of news channel CNN has launched a smartphone application for Nokia handsets.

The app, which is free at launch, allows users to upload user-generated “iReports” and watch video of breaking news stories. There is also text-based news and information to view and share. The app can be downloaded from the Nokia online app market, Ovi Store.
