Telekom Austria increased the subscriber base of its pay TV platform aonTV by 50% to 165,000 during the first quarter of the year. It added 14,000 subs during the quarter.
The telco said growth in fixed access lines gained further momentum during the three months ending March 31 as increasing demand for fixed broadband boosted product bundles and led to increase in fixed access lines by 7,300 lines compared to a loss of 3,200 lines a year earlier.
Telekom Austrias aonTV IPTV service offers over 130 channels, and more than 1,000 movies and TV series on-demand.Â
