QVC Beauty launches on Freeview

QVC has launched its QVC Beauty shopping channel on the Freeview digital-terrestrial platform in the UK.

The service, which will broadcast daily from 08:00-13:00, will air one-hour programmes made up of video clips from the most recent live presentations on QVC UK, enhanced with original content from beauty industry experts and personalities.

QVC Beauty has struck an agreement with broadcast services provider Arqiva to provide transmission services.

QVC Beauty was initially launched on the BSkyB pay TV platform in October. The Freeview launch will make it available in a further 10.8 million primary homes and 23 million secondary TV sets.
