Cablecom appoints Lorenz as VP of network services

Liberty Global-owned Swiss cable operator UPC Cablecom has appointed Alexander Lorenz as vice-president network services. He will join the Swiss cable operator in June from Kabel Deutschland where he was responsible for the operation, fault clearance and provisioning of Germany’s largest cable network.

Alfred Seiler, vice-president network services since 2005, will become vice-president technology at UPC Cablecom. In this position, Seiler will oversee the development of next generation products and steer strategic projects. He will continue to serve as a member of the management board.
