Italian telco and IPTV operator Fastweb has launched an OTT on-demand service that can be viewed on any internet-connected device.
The new service, branded Chilli TV, does not require a subscription. Fastweb said it had agreements in place with several studios and producers, including Warner Bros, Paramount, Moviemax and Fandango.
Fastweb promises hundreds of titles that can be rented for 48-hour periods our bought outright. The telco will also offer over 600 free titles, divided into categories including Junior, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Woman and Wellness.
Users need to sign up for the service at www.chilli-tv.it and will require a broadband connection of at least 1Mbps.Â
