TDC pay TV revenues up 12.5%

Danish telco TDC increased pay TV revenues by 12.5% in the first quarter of 2010 thanks to growth from its YouSee cable business and the TDC TV IPTV platform.

TDC ended March with 1,477,000 TV customers, compared with 1,414,000 a year earlier. YouSee had 1,336,000 subs and TDC TV increased its base to 130,000.

YouSee posted first quarter revenues of DKK1,065 million (€142 million), up 7.5% year-on-year. EBITDA increased 16.4% to DKK376 million. Revenues from TDC TV were up 44.2% to DKK38 million thanks to increased RGUs and higher ARPU.
