DNA ups first quarter sales and profit

Finnish telco and pay TV service operator DNA has upped revenues on the first quarter of the year.

The company, which bought Sanoma’s Welho cable business last year, reported first-quarter revenue of €175.2 million compared with €161.4 million a year earlier. EBITDA profit was €51.8 million compared with €47.1 million a year ago. The company said it has greatly increased the TV channel capacity on its services after getting an operating licence for a pay DTT service.
